Oversee the information and placement of small groups, ensuring a diverse range of groups to meet the needs and interests of the congregation.
Foster a culture of community and discipleship within small groups, encouraging spiritual growth, accountability, and meaningful relationships among participants.
Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate small groups into various ministries, such as youth, young adults, men’s and women’s ministries, and outreach programs.
Provide leadership and support to ministry leaders within the church, offering guidance, resources, and training to enhance their effectiveness.
Develop and implement leadership programs and initiatives, equipping and empowering individuals to serve and lead in various ministry capacities.
Collaborate with the pastoral team to ensure alignment of small groups and leadership development with the overall church vision and mission.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of small groups and leadership development initiatives, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
Serve as a liaison between small group leaders, ministry leaders, and the church leadership, facilitating communication and collaboration.
Assist in planning and executing church-wide events and initiatives, fostering a sense of unity and engagement within the congregation.
Stay informed about current trends, resources, and best practices in small group ministry and leadership development, attending conferences and training opportunities as appropriate.
Cultivate relationships with small group participants and ministry leaders, providing pastoral care, guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with the operational and administrative teams to ensure the smooth functioning of small group ministry, including budget management, resource allocation, and communication strategies.

Description
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-functioning church facility and grounds. This position combines custodial duties, groundskeeping, seasonal maintenance, and basic building maintenance.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and is able to work independently while responding to the needs of the church and its ministries.
Responsibilities
Custodial & Cleaning
● Clean and maintain church buildings, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways,
common areas, and other assigned spaces.
● Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
● Empty trash.
● Maintain appropriate cleaning supplies and notify leadership when supplies need to be replenished.
● Prepare facilities for worship services, meetings, classes, and special events, if needed.
● Help maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment throughout the church.
Groundskeeping & Yard Maintenance
● Mow and maintain lawns.
● Trim and grass, weeds, and shrubs.
● Edge sidewalks.
● Perform seasonal yard maintenance and general outdoor cleanup.
● Maintain sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor areas so they remain clean, safe, and
presentable.
● Assist with landscaping, planting, leaf removal, and other grounds projects as needed.
Snow & Ice Removal
● Remove snow from sidewalks, entrances, steps, and other designated areas.
● Apply salt or ice-melt products as needed to maintain safe walking surfaces.
● Assist with snow removal from parking areas and other areas as assigned.
Basic Maintenance & Repairs
● Perform basic building repairs and maintenance appropriate to the employee’s skill level.
● Replace light bulbs and perform other minor upkeep tasks.
● Assist with painting and touch-up projects.
● Help maintain doors, fixtures, furniture, equipment, and other church property.
● Identify maintenance issues and communicate larger or specialized repair needs to
church leadership.
● Assist with facility improvement projects as needed.
Facility & Event Support
● Assist with setup and tear-down for church events, meetings, and special activities, if
needed.
● Move and arrange tables, chairs, and other furniture as needed.
● Help ensure facilities are properly prepared before and restored following events.
● Provide general support for the ongoing operation and care of the church facility.
General Responsibilities
● Take ownership and pride in the appearance and condition of the church property.
● Properly use and care for church-owned tools, equipment, and supplies.
● Follow appropriate safety procedures when using cleaning products, tools, lawn
equipment, and other equipment.
● Work cooperatively with church staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders.

Embrace Church is adding another passionate graphic designer to our Creative Team! This is a full-time role, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The role is a central position working 40 hours each week in support of our four physical locations and the overall brand of Embrace Church. The Graphics Coordinator is responsible for executing the design aesthetic of Embrace and helping lead, manage, and enhance the look and feel of Embrace through the direction of the Creative Director.
FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS/WEEK; Sunday - Thursday with occasional evenings as needed.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Creative Director on the development & execution of all graphic design work including series art, ministries art (groups, missions, students and kids), social media assets, website, special events, and any other design needs that arise.
Sets up the Creative, Production & Speaking Teams for successful and smooth Sunday mornings through the preparation of accurate & compelling slide decks, rotator graphics and other Sunday morning-specific deliverables.
Coordinates design requests from all ministry areas; actively communicates and collaborates with other teams to fulfill requests in a timely & excellent way.
Assists with the ordering, pick up and delivery of print assets; helps with the installation of signage or entryway pieces.
Collaborates with the Communications Coordinator on graphics & content for social media.
Collaborates with Creative & Pastoral teams in brainstorming sessions.
Seeks out and innovates ways for Embrace to be a more creative experience. This includes art/design related to the Sunday morning experience, including the parking lot, lobby, kids’ spaces, and sanctuary.
Shoots and edits photos.
Manages all creative and photo files both during post-production and the archiving stage, ensuring efficient retrieval of archived files.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and ensures the timely completion of deliverables.
Meets and connects with volunteer photographers and trains them on a Sunday morning or special event. Coordinates bimonthly meetings with current, past, and new volunteer photographers to share experiences, exchange tips and tricks, showcase portfolios, and build a strong connection. Manage a central GroupMe chat to facilitate ongoing team communication, send meeting invites, and foster community. Maintain a regular, ongoing schedule for all volunteer photographers within Planning Center Online (PCO) to ensure structured coverage across campuses.
