Coordinate and lead Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening youth worship.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening youth worship.

  • Lead rehearsals and worship services for weekends in a way that is engaging and authentic.

  • Recruit, develop, equip, train, and motivate worship team members and leaders, while building a strong team culture through development strategies and fostering personal connections among the team.

  • Provide expertise on music, trends and culture to lead people into meaningful worship.

  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the worship department by leading and co-leading along with and alongside other staff.

  • Engage in weekly staff and team meetings, contributing to the creative planning of worship experiences both on the weekend and throughout other special events (i.e. Night of Worship).

  • Uphold and promote Embrace's Work Values and Team Culture, creating an environment of authentic, engaging worship.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in a positive way with volunteers.

  • Build relationships with eKids families, providing care and communication both on Sundays and throughout the week.

  • Assist with maintaining volunteer records, ensuring background checks and safety standards are up-to-date.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining safe, engaging environments for kids to learn about Jesus.

  • Assist in planning and facilitating eKids special events.

  • Participate in staff, campus and team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Building Cleaning: Clean and maintain excellent environments in all interior areas of the church, including hallways, offices, meeting rooms and common spaces.

  • Bathrooms: Regularly clean and disinfect bathrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.).

  • Windows: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces throughout the building to maintain a bright and welcoming environment.

  • Floors: Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors throughout the facility. Address any spills or stains promptly.

  • Trash Removal: Empty trash cans in all rooms and areas, ensuring they are replaced with clean liners. Dispose of waste in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in eKids working with kids with special needs on Sunday mornings (birth-5th grade).

  • Flexible 3-5 hours during the week for training, preparation and communication.

  • Recruit, train and schedule eKids Buddy Volunteer Team (eKids Buddies are volunteers assigned to assist eKids that need extra 1-on-1 help in eKids on Sunday mornings.

  • Communicate and schedule with parents. 

  • Modify and prepare environments and curriculum. 

  • Communicate and collaborate weekly with the eKids and campus teams.

  • Assist in planning, modifying, and facilitating eKids events.
