The heartbeat of our church is to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach 5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 people for Jesus!

Description

PART-TIME GROUPS COORDINATOR (6-8 hours per week)

Responsibilities 

  • Recruit, train, equip, and schedule small group first impressions teams and childcare workers. 

  • Provide ongoing support, resources, and training opportunities to empower them in their roles. 

  • Oversee the environments of the group meeting space: ensuring a welcoming space for all attendees.

  • Serve as a liaison between small group leaders, ministry leaders, and the church leadership, facilitating communication and collaboration. 

  • Cultivate relationships with small group participants and ministry leaders, providing pastoral care, guidance, and support as needed. 

  • Collaborate with the operational and administrative teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the small group ministry, including budget management, resource allocation, and communication strategies.

  • An authentic follower of Christ that is pursuing the Lord with his/her heart, mind, and soul

  • A life growing in all aspects of the fruit of the Spirit (love,  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control)

  • Involved in the heart and life of Embrace (events, activities, small group, etc)

  • Entrepreneurial-minded, with a passion for building relationships

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and foster a team environment and sense of unity among team members

  • Able to give and receive feedback in a healthy and productive way
