Westside Campus Assistant eKids Coordinator - Part Time

PART-TIME, 20 HOURS/WEEK

The heartbeat of our church is to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach 5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 people for Jesus!

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside and assist the eKids Coordinator in preparing and facilitating all aspects of Sunday morning eKids (birth–5th grade).

  • Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and caring for a growing team of volunteers.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in a positive way with volunteers. 

  • Assist in preparing Sunday content and activities using curriculum resources. 

  • Build relationships with eKids families, providing care and communication both on Sundays and throughout the week.

  • Assist with maintaining volunteer records, ensuring background checks and safety standards are up-to-date.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining safe, engaging environments for kids to learn about Jesus.

  • Assist in planning and facilitating eKids special events.

  • Participate in staff, campus and team meetings. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • A life growing in all aspects of the fruit of the Spirit (love,  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control).

  • Involved in the heart and life of Embrace (events, activities, small group, etc).

  • Entrepreneurial minded, with a passion to build relationships.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Ability to create and foster a team environment and sense of unity among team members.

  • Able to give and receive feedback in a healthy and productive way.

Compensation & Benefits

Part time employment (working a minimum of 20 hrs/week) at Embrace includes a generous and competitive compensation package, including a matching 403b program and PTO package. Paid time off is earned at a prorated rate (based on their weekly hours worked), and includes holiday pay, maternity/paternity leave and wellness benefits.
