  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Read John 19:40-41, 20:1. 

  • On Palm Sunday, we talked about how the bridge between the way things are and the way they should be is death. Jesus bridges that gap with His death on the cross. Discuss how that makes you feel. 

  • Have you ever felt like the path to God is closed to you? Like you’ve made too many mistakes or you’re not good enough? 

  • Read John 20:3-7. 

  • What grave clothes are you still wearing? What lies do you believe about yourself that you need to give to God? 

  • Read John 20:11-16.

  • Jesus sees you and knows you. He calls you by your name! How does that make you feel?


Spiritual Practice
Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Thank Him for sending His Son to die on the cross for us and bridge the gap for us. Thank Him for calling you by name and loving you so well.
