Questions

• Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

• Read 1 Timothy 4:12; 1 Corinthians 11:1.

• Do your words match your actions? Kids listen to us, but they watch what we do more. What are you modeling to your kids? 

• Do you want your kids to be thankful? Are you a thankful person yourself? Do you want your kids to have good integrity? How’s your integrity? Do you want your kids to have a strong faith? How’s your own faith? 

• Read Matthew 5:33-34, 37. 

• Do the words you say have weight? Do you mean the words you say?

• Read 1 Peter 4:10. 

• What do you do for work? Do you complain about work around your kids? 

• How can you work on changing your mindset and attitude about your work? How can you start finding the purpose in your work? 

• How’s your walk with Jesus? Are you walking with Him daily? If not, how can you start walking with Him daily? 

• What are some non-negotiables you either have or can set up for your children when it comes to their faith?

Spiritual Practice
Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Pray for your kids and the young people you influence in your life. Pray that God would strengthen their faith. Ask God to help you model a good life to your kids. Thank Him for the blessing and the privilege of raising up the next generation.
