Questions

  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Have you ever wondered “how do you know your God is the right God”? 

  • Read John 10:31-36. 

  • What makes Jesus unique? 

  • When we follow Jesus, we don’t have to do more or try harder to be accepted by Him. He has already done enough and accepts us. What did Jesus do to make that acceptance possible for us? 

  • Read Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 1:14, Matthew 11:28, Romans 5:8. 

  • Jesus already accepts us. How does that make you feel knowing you don’t have to earn His acceptance? 

  • Would you expect your spouse or friends to follow a set of rules or expectations perfectly for the whole life before they got to have a relationship with you? Then why do we think that about Jesus? 

  • Read 1 Corinthians 15:2, 54-55.

  • Jesus has the final say. What in your life does Jesus have the final say over? Your addiction? Your mistakes? Your failures?


Spiritual Practice

Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Think about all the ways Jesus is unique and why He is the right God. Thank Him for being unique and offering us something no one else can: unconditional love and acceptance. Ask Jesus to help you fully surrender and let Him love you.
