Questions

  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Have you ever thought “does it matter what kind of church I attend”?

  • Read 1 Corinthians 2:1-2. 

  • Is Jesus the most important thing in your faith? Do you feel your church points you to Jesus? 

  • Are you focused on the essentials of the faith? Or do you get caught up with the non-essentials? 

  • Read Ephesians 2:4-5.

  • Do you feel bored with your relationship with Jesus? Or do you feel excited about your relationship with Him? Are you fired up for Jesus? 

  • Do you feel like it matters what specific kind of church you attend? 

  • Have you committed to one church? 

  • Read Hebrews 10:24. 

  • We need the church, but the church also needs us. Are you involved at church? Are you helping point people to Jesus? Are you helping them fall more in love with Him?


Spiritual Practice

Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Ask Him to help you focus on Him and the essentials of the faith. Thank Him for sending His Son to die on the cross for us so that we could focus on Him. Ask Him to help you point others to Jesus.
