Questions

  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Read Matthew 5:14-16, 1 Peter 2:12, John 15:18-19, & Luke 6:22. 

  •  Have you ever noticed a time where your faith repelled someone? There were also times in the Bible when Jesus repelled people. 

  • Read Matthew 19:21-22. 

  • Jesus spoke a hard truth to the man, and the man walked away instead of following Jesus. Has there ever been a time in your life where you had to say a hard truth? Or maybe you’ve been on the receiving end of a hard truth? How did that feel? 

  • Read Mark 3:5-6 & John 3:19. 

  • What’s a moment in your life where you did what was right, despite what everyone else was doing? A time where you went against the culture to do a Godly thing instead? 

  • Read Matthew 21:9. 

  • Jesus lived boldly and took bold steps of faith. Has there ever been a time in your life where you took a bold step of faith? If not, how can you start taking bold steps of faith going forward?


Spiritual Practice
Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Ask Him to help you live boldly in your faith and to be willing to speak the hard truth that comes from Him. Thank Him for sending Jesus so that we can live out a bold faith and attract others to Jesus.
