FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS/WEEK

The heartbeat of our church is to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach 5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 people for Jesus!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of Youth Ministry at our Westside Campus. Cast vision for Wednesday night services, responsible for Wednesday night teaching. 

  • Constantly think of new ways to reach the next student for Jesus.

  • Create structure and programs that aid in the spiritual growth of Staff, volunteers, and students.

  • Build into the lives of students and train volunteers to build into the lives of students.

  • Be involved during Sunday morning worship by connecting with youth, worshipping with youth, and helping out with any other general things.

  • Build a thriving volunteer team.

  • Report to campus pastor.

  • An authentic follower of Christ that is pursuing the Lord with his/her heart, mind, and soul.

  • A life growing in all aspects of the fruit of the Spirit (love,  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control).

  • Great communicator.

  • “Make it happen” attitude, with willingness to go the extra mile.

  • Leadership and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility in schedule to adapt to events, holidays and extra needs during busy seasons.

  • Involved in the heart and life of Embrace (events, activities, small group, etc).

  • Become a partner of Embrace.

  • Have the ability to create and foster a team environment and sense of unity among team members.
